Well, I am all about letting kids work with their own creativity. I did not look at this until Halloween. I need to work with my editing team. BOYS ARE FUN!!!!!

You have to admit that Poop is scary!
Ok, so aparently even when you have a 6 year old you are suppose to watch them. Note to self when your child is being quiet and you are relaxing and enjoying the silence, there is danger around the corner. One benifit he learned how to clean. KIDS ARE FUN!!!!!

Christopher had some last minute touches for his pumpkin. Truly a work of art.
Tucker was a skeleton for a school program. Aparently he left his bone in Lousiana.

Shelly working hard and looking good. Well lets face it she is not working hard!

This was Jakes contribution to the pumpkin carving night. he is so festive.
When Kyle heard that we were going to carve pumpkins and bond as a family he said " I am so there! "

Christopher drawing the design on his pumpkin getting ready to carve. Not to self Maybe I should not promote a permanant marker. I am a slow learner.

Carving Pumpkins with the Cepeda Family for Family night. I had them dim the lights to make me look thinner. It so worked.
Oregon is just so beautiful in the fall. This is pre raking leaves time of course then it becomes a bit evil. Live in the moment.

He is working so hard. Noticethat he thought to grab the scriptures before he decided to have a nap. Always prepared to look good.

He just wanted a little snack of Mac and Cheese. Apparently I did not stress enough the importance of protion control. If a little is good a lot is better.

Posing by an organ. Not sure what else to say.

Cooper has always taken everything he does very seriously. Sweet vest huh!!

Jake and Kyle both received their eagles this year. They had their Court of Honor on July 13, 2008. I just have to say Ha!!! to all those who thought that my children would end up as juvinal delinquents ( not sure if I spelled either of those words right). Now we do have a pretty solid relationship with the Tualatin police department but in their defence, how are they suppose to know that going to see a school building that 2 unrelated teenagers set on fire a week before, would make them look suspisious, and aparently climbing out a 2 story bedroom window with your friends rock climbing equipment, does not exactly jive with the scout oath but at least he used safty gear. But seriously though, we are so proud. It really was a great night. (yea Whitnie got her 3rd eagle!!!)

This is the invite that Elder Cooper Trost (that sounds so cool) and his companion Elder Hatch send out to all the members inactive and active with birthdays in June. I would come!!
This is one of the boys that Cooper was able to baptise on his mission in Lubbock Texas. This is a boy named Mathew Beavers and he was baptized on May 31, 2008
This is a baptism of Misty on May 31, 2008 and her 2 children.
Cooper was asked to be the best man at John and Traci Shaw's Wedding. Elder Hatch was the assistant to the best man. Still an important job but Cooper informs me that it is not quite as important as his was. So modist.

Tucker learned to water ski on the Boon I think it is called. He did very well. When I first learned I got water in places that, well anyway the point is that Tucker did well!!

This is Christopher tubing behind the Scrimpshers boat. He is a natural.

We went to Clarkston Washington to visit my High school friend Angie ( Koontz) Scrimpsher and her family. They have a beautiful boat. Chirstopher loved being on it. On the first trip out he was so relaxed he fell asleep in 5 minutes.

This is Jake and Christopher playing Guitar Hero. Jake is mad because Christopher is beating him. Chris just has a gift. Sorry Jake.

This is Kyle after he was told to stop texting his girlfriend and come down and be with the family. He thought I said stop being with the family and go text your girlfriend. I guess that is an honest mistake.
Ok, so I pride myself on being a pretty good mom. I try make meals that have at least some of the elements on the balanced food pyrimid. This is what happens when children are left to fend for themselves. Jake asked "what's for lunch" I said " I don't know, what ever you fix I guess" Well he chose Cake mix. I am so proud that all of that nutrition talk paid off!!!

Michael Hatch, our cousin form John Hatch, Whitnie's Brother's son, Came to visit. lets just say that it was not the quietest couple of weeks of my life. He is a happy boy. ( Kind of scary)
These are the boys, Michael, Kyle and Jake, On their way to EFY a church camp in Tacoma Washington. They had a great time. Met lots of girls and well girls. I asked Michael if he felt the spirit while he was there. He said" why yes I did, it was like a blanket around me, that is why I fell asleep." I am not sure wheither to hug him or smack him. My guess is the latter one is more appropriate for this situation.

This is Tucker at his Talent Show. Already a rock star. He has only had 4 lessons and he is only 10. I am hoping he makes me big bucks!!!!

This is Tucker's bridge he had to make for his 4th grade class with Miss Hoppe. He is so proud of his work. If you look just to the right of Tucker through the bridge you see Jake peeking through. I told him to quit getting in the picture and you can see how well he listens. Great bridge though.

Christopher's Spring assembly in Kindergarden

Kyle cleans up pretty nice. He went to Tualatin High Schools 2008 prom with Brooke his girlfriend. Not that I am jealous but " a limo" I am the one with the grey hair if anyone deserves a limo ride to anywhere it should be me. Seriously though they had fun and Kyle was home ( brace yourselves) before cerfew ( the extended cerfew for prom of course).

"I told Tucker he could have a small bite of my licorice and he took a bit this big" Little brothers are such a delight.
Shelly was at her dads baseball game and she ran into this cute guy. Aparently he offered to buy her some nachos, but she said that she can not accept such extravigant gifts from boys until she is 16 so she talked him into downgrading to a licorice rope.
Here is a one time shot of our Garage. We have been married for almost 21 years and this is the first and lets face it probably the last time that a car will be in our garage. Lets take a moment............... Ok that was nice.
I know this looks like an ordinary salt shaker and it is but it is neatly placed on the counter by Christopher. What I do not have a picture of is the salt all over the family room floor. it was like snow. I took the picture because he did put it neatly on the counter when he was finished. Such a nice boy. @#$#@#!!!
Here is our finished Motercycle. We finally got it fixed after it being out of commission for a year . Whitnie has lost sleep since then. yea!
This is a picture of Kyle washing our firends car. She was paying him to clean out her car and she offered him 5 more dollars if he washed it with out his shirt. Kyle is such businessman. He is 5 dollars closer to paying off his part of the wrecked car. A whole other story.

Here is Cooper in the MTC. I think what he is trying to show here is that having the Priesthood is kind of like having the power of a Jedi Night. Such a smart boy.
This is Cooper in Lubbock Texas with his friend Arnold the Armadillo. He takes Arnold out occasionally to see the sights of Texas. It is important to have friends.
Here is Shelly, So blissfully unaware that in a matter of minutes she will be in terrible pain trying to achieve the perfect smile.
Here she is beginning her journey to the straightest teeth money could ever buy. Such a lovely smile, and just an hour She texted me to pick her up from school because she needed to take about 4 ibuprophen. Beauty is pain.
Jake is on the high school Track team as a high jumper and a pole voulter. This is over 5 and most did not make the jump but he did. All those years of jumping on the bed paid off.
This is what happens when you leave your 5 year old to watch "The Wiggles" while your steal away to have a well deserved 4 min shower. It is almost like he is punishing me for craving cleanlyness. Anyone have any Sugar I can borrow. I seem to be out at the moment.
